We created this website because we want people to know more about Cornwall and the Cornish people. Despite not being a commercial or urban hub, Cornwall has played a huge role in the history of the United Kingdom. It is a shame when some people dismiss it as a tourist spot with no history. There is so much that the Cornish people have gone through and it is important for people to recognize that. On the rest of our website there are several links to pages of information about the Cornish history and the significance of Cornwall as an area.
We are just a group of British people who are looking to get Cornwall back on the map in people’s minds. We do not want anyone to forget about the culture and traditions that have come out of Cornwall. So much of our visual arts and music comes from Cornwall and we should be eternally grateful. The Cornish are and always will remain a minority but it is important for minorities to be recognized and we believe that they should get the rights that they deserve from the government and from the rest of us.
